Virtuoso hands

back massage Pictures, Images and Photos
Touch is a very important part of human contact.
It helps us feel connected and loved by those around us.
Once in a while when life makes me feel more vexed and victimized than  vibrant I book a full body massage.
There is no better therapy to vent vicious various feelings.
Its a sort of vacation for the mind and soul.
As soon as I walk in the massage room I vaguely feel almost virtuous viewing the various vases of flowers and vials of essential oils made from violets, vanilla and verbena.
My massage therapist has virtuoso hands as she applies the velvety creams and very gently massages each vertebrae.
It somehow also helps lessen my vertigo.
In the end I'm almost in a vegetative mode as she gently reminds me that she now accepts Visa...

When I win the lottery (ha! ha!) I will have a massage therapist come to my house everyday to give me a massage. What a great way to start the day! (my own chef/nutritionist and personal trainer would be nice too...)  What's one thing you would do for yourself  when you win the lottery?

This post was vividly brought to you  by the letter V.  If you want to join Alaphabe-Thursday just click hereMiss Jenny is waiting for you...dont be late!

  9. What a riot! I smiled as I read your creative "V" post because you wonderfully used so many "v" words in your massage story. The animal pictures are adorable and I seriously feel the need to call for a massage.
I'm not sure what I would do for myself if I won the lottery but I know that I would give my daughter and her family enough money to buy a house and a bigger car.

  24. I just popped over from Java's Follow Friday 40 and Over. What a great post! I especially loved how you got the word "visa" in there at the end. :D

But I think, even if I do win the lottery some day, that I'd still prefer to go to a spa for my massages - it seems to be part of the "escaping from real life" thing, when you walk into the spa and that soft music is playing and there's all those lovely aromatherapy smells and they hand you a fluffy robe. Just seems more special than if the massage therapist was to show up on my back door step.

I'm following you now and look forward to getting to reading more of your posts.

    Happy Friday, Ro

  39. I LOVE QUEBEC! We just got back from a trip to Montreal, Quebec City and the Charlevoix region. I'm in love with all of Quebec. The people were sooo nice. We were in the subway station in QC looking at a map and looking totally lost (and drenched as it was pouring that day) and a total stranger stopped to ask if we needed help. How nice was that? I definitely want to go back. Without the kids (he, he).
Oh, and I believe massage should be part of our everyday health plan! If I win the lottery, I'll send you some massage money!
