Great photos! When we were in South Africa in an open lorry going through a game reserve an elephant walked along side of the vehicle looking in. Before he approached us the guide said not to move, take a picture or say anything because she could have flipped us over. It was quite an experience!
That must have been scary! I remember one night while waiting for our food to arrive in a restaurant/lodge in SA I decided to go out for a minute and stare at the moon shining on the river. It was pitch black and as I was walking I bumped into something and then heard running and a big splash. Then I saw a baby hippo and the mom I presume was already in the water. Had she turned around and taken a chump out of me I would not be here writing this story. I got a better clue later when I saw the name of the restaurant: Hippo Hollow....
In the first pic, I think she's definately screaming...that polar bear is trying to make a meal of her!!
We also have that pic of the baboons up in our Sea Rescue base. Only difference is that we have added names of all our crew to each of the baboons... :-)
I'm a French teacher by day at a local Montréal School and a mother and blogger by night! The door to my boudoir is always open to greet new friends. My blog serves as a gratitude journal as well as an excuse to avoid as much housework as possible...

What animal is that in the "Hi, yaaaaa" picture?
ReplyDeleteHi DVD,
ReplyDeleteThat has to be hilarious. Which baboon are you in the picture?
Hi Salty,
I'm figuring if it is Africa it is an ostrich or if it is Australia, an emu. To me they are so similar even in their behavior! :)
wow, I wasn't even sure it is a bird ;-)
ReplyDeleteTous ces animaux se vengeant des humains qui les emm... : trop drôle !
ReplyDeleteBonjour PMB,
