One of my favorite smells is fresh linen that has been drying on a clothesline four hours. I love to make my beds with sheets and linens that have spent a few hours drying with the help of a nice springtime breeze. It helps me fall asleep at night. Perhaps it reminds me of my youth. I'm not sure. While I was looking at different decor magazines on line I found these beautiful pictures displayed in Décormag (a Montreal decor magazine). The author took these pictures somewhere in the South of France in a local flee market. I could not resist posting them today because I'm joining White Wednesday presented by Kathleen at Faded Charm Cottage. If you want to join, please click here:
I love christening clothes, lace, embroidery and baby hats. I find its an ingenious way of displaying something so delicate.
I love all the little details but I'm very happy I don't have to do all the ironing! I hope you all have a Happy White Wednesday!

ReplyDeleteMMmmmm! What lovely white linens! I too love linens that have been hung out to dry on a clothesline all day! We never used the dryer in the summer when I was growing up! Everything got hung on the clothesline.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you shared these with us. They are amazing. I love the liner on the clothes basket and the old clothes pins. Wouldn't all this make laundry fun!
ReplyDeleteTake care and enjoy your week.

ReplyDeleteI do too love the smell of sun dry linens, they remind me of my childhood, when we used to dry our clothes in the lines, living in a hot area we never need a clothes dryer.
Nice blog, I love the yellows in your kitchen..
